A full-day experience to play golf in one of the best course in Europe: MENAGGIUO & CADENABBIA GOLF CLUB, a 18 holes with par 70.
With over 100 years of history, the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club, founded in 1907 by an English gentleman, is the second oldest golf club in Italy and among its members for sure GEORGE CLOONEY is the most famous.
A full day to play golf, stay in relax and dining the finest italian dishes.
THE DAY PROGRAM:
Departure in the early morning from your hotel by boat direction MENAGGIO.
At the dock in Menaggio you will find a private cab to the Golf Club.
There you will have the possibility to choose between a 9 or 18 holes course. Nowdays the plants have grown and the fairways have narroved and the course is very delicate. The motto “Far and Sure!, present on the emblem of the Circle, will seem very appropriate to any player facing the course for the first time.
During the day you can have a light-lunch at the famous “ERRE” Restaurant of the Club House. Here traditional kitchen in a contemporary key is a must thank to the great passion and skill of Chef Cristina Filangeri.
In the afternoon you can stay in relax into the ancien library of the Club House. Infact, the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club library is universally considered one the most precious concentrates of golf publications in the world. Over 1200 volumes have been collected; about 480 are counted in meticulous cursive script on the pages of the catalogue, which is rightly preserved as relic: a fundamental donation, probably the most conspicuous, is quoted as having been made by Tait in 1923.
In the afternoon we will back to Menaggio and then by boat through the wonderful Lake Como. On the water we will see the famous villas of the central lake area drinking a glass of the Finest italian Prosecco “Valdobbiadene”.
We will reach your hotel 1h later.
